THE CREW

Alaska Saltwater Fly Fishing Company is the culmination of years spent international tournament fishing for sailfish and marlin, decades of experience captaining short and long range sportfishing charters in Alaska, Hawaii, and California, personal time fly fishing for wild trout with family and friends, and a life-long passion for being on the water.

Since 2000 I have been running conventional halibut, rockfish and salmon charters for The Fish House out of Seward, Alaska. Throughout those years countless clients, friends, and industry professionals have asked the question, “Is it possible to productively fly fish for halibut?” Several local fly anglers have been doing it for years with reasonable success so I knew it could be done and if one committed to the fly, it could be very productive. In 2021 we launched Alaska Saltwater Fly Fishing Co.

Now for the 2023 season we are working with Pacific Boat Works and designing our own vessel. We are currently accepting charter reservations for the upcoming season as we look forward to exploring more fly fishing areas and styles of trips.

All of our trips can be custom made to meet the expectations of our clientele and deliver the full Alaskan experience. Besides fly fishing we are still offering traditional bottom fishing trips for our repeat clientele along with sightseeing trips.
